China has been undergoing dramatic changes in the business environment over the past 20 years. For the next 20 years, we are looking forward to further vertical integration of industrial activities and cooperation, in which one of the roles the European Chamber can definitely play is facilitating access and helping European enterprises better understand the government’s way of thinking.

The European Chamber has been acting as a relay between stakeholders, providing the means for improved understanding between all parties. During my time as vice chair of the local board in Tianjin, I very much appreciated the opportunity to share our actions with the community, especially during the open member cross-talk sessions we had last year. Therefore, in this spirit, we will continue to do our utmost to bring the community closer together, leveraging our issues together.
